Tim Biskup *
In this conversation, Tim Biskup discusses his journey as an artist and the challenges he has faced. He mentions that he and his artist friends were invited to shows individually rather than as a group. However, they bonded over their willingness to create work that didn't conform to traditional expectations. Biskup emphasizes the importance of staying true to oneself as an artist and not being compared to others. He talks about his unique visual language and the unpredictability of his creative process. Biskup also mentions that he draws every day and carries a sketchbook with him. He views his sketchbook as a personal diary and a tool for honesty in his work. Biskup shares his plans to expand his drawing events and the unique energy that comes from watching him create. He also discusses the emotional and honest nature of his artwork and the significance of his bronze vessel sculpture with a balloon inside. The conversation ends with a quote from Ed Ruscha about the impact of good artwork.

ERIC MINH SWENSON *
Eric Minh Swenson himself is art. As the son of a professional photographer, it was only natural for Eric to one day grow into his own by carrying on the spirit of his father by not only picking up a camera but creating his own universe full of art and adventures. For the past ten years Eric has become a shapeshifting character popping up at galleries, museums, and event openings. When not documenting those events, he is all over Southern California engaging with seasoned and emerging artists in their studios. His ten years with boots, bedazzled sneakers and at times Crocs on the ground has elevated him as Los Angeles foremost digital documentarian. After spending over four years exploring with Eric and endless hours in the car driving from gallery to gallery, event to event, it is time you learn what it is that keeps me from kicking him out of my car. Let us get to know the man behind the camera.
ADVENTURES with Eric Minh Swenson
Since 2019 I have been enjoying visiting new and established artist with Eric. Half the fun is never knowing what to expect or what the artists wants to reveal about themselves. Here are a few of our adventures. There have been far too many to list here. All have been enjoyable and I appreciate the openness and time these artists have shared with us.
